GAWS 100 - Introduction to Gender and Women’s Studies

This interdisciplinary course examines basic analytical constructs and key issues in feminist knowledge using transnational lenses. It introduces feminist theories, and discusses the variety of human experiences with respect to gender and sexuality.  Gender is examined in combination with race, class, sexuality and other differences. Classroom discussion is central to the feminist pedagogy of this course. Enrollment Limit: 25
