This course involves a multi-faceted and critical look at how gender shapes identities, beliefs, and behavior. In particular, we will explore
how people do gender in their everyday lives. Class themes/topics include media constructions of femininity and masculinity, sexual
orientation, racial and cultural critiques of feminist psychology, violence in intimate relationships, gender and mental health, gender
development, and gender-based harassment. Enrollment Limit: 35.
