THEA 236 - Scene Design

This course will use historical theater architecture and scene design as an impetus to the design process by using historically accurate elements to inspire plans and elevations for class design projects. Presentation of individual and group design projects will be by plan, elevation, rendering and model. Basic scenographic techniques will be covered, as well as design processes involving the collaborative nature of the medium. Consent of instructor required. Enrollment Limit: 12.
