This course will introduce skills needed to perform Shakespeare: imaging, phrasing, scansion, and rhetorical analysis. Assignments include work on sonnets, soliloquies and scenes. Consent of instructor required. Enrollment Limit: 20. Instructor: P. Moser Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: THEA 200, 201. To be taken concurrently with THEA 210, 269 (Movement and Voice for the Actor).
This combination of courses is designed to prepare advanced students planning to apply to graduate school in Acting.
