MATH 030 - Topics in Contemporary Mathematics Semester Offered: First Semester Credits (Range): 3 Hours Attribute: 3 NS, QP-F
Brief explorations of a wide variety of topics, including sequences, models of growth, symmetry, fractals, graph theory and linear programming. Enrollment Limit: 30. Instructor: G. Kennedy Prerequisites & Notes Note: This course does not count toward a major in Mathematics. It is intended for students in the social sciences and humanities with minimal mathematical experience who have not satisfied the quantitative proficiency requirement.
