In the period between the end of World War II and the beginning of the 21st century, the Caribbean has experienced a significant series of transformations. The course will examine three of the most prominent themes against the background of a changing international environment, the growth and development of new ideological currents and the emergence of a vigorous new nationalism in the region as a whole.
