The seminar will investigate issues related to the allocation and use of freshwater resources. We will look specifically at water pricing and distribution schemes in water scare areas such as the American West and assess economic mechanisms that address issues related to water quality and incentives for water conservation. Enrollment Limit: 10. Instructor: J. Suter Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: ECON 253 and ECON 255 or consent of instructor. ECON/ENVS 231 or 331 recommended. Note: Taught in alternate years.
