This course analyzes the religious views underpinning women’s literature, political advocacy, public speaking, and social reform work from colonial days to the 1970’s, with a focus on primary sources. Students will apply the knowledge and methodology acquired during the course to pursue their own research interests in women’s religious history in North America.
