ARTS 093 - Advanced New Media: Land Arts in an Electronic Age

This class is an upper-level hands-on seminar course, examining modes in which artists interact with the land in our post-digital landscape. The course will begin with an introduction of various forms of psychogeographic research and digital creative cartographic tools. The class will travel to Gary, IN with representatives from the Center for Land use Interpretation. The class will create final pieces to be exhibited in a collaborative show with students at Carnegie Mellon University. Enrollment Limit: 14. Instructor: J. Christensen
