COMP 204 - New Music Workshop Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 Hours A workshop for performers and composers centered around continuing collaborations. Topics will include conventional and extended instrumental techniques, scoring, notation, performance, and compositional issues. Composers will be given regular writing assignments ranging in degrees of constraint in terms of scope and instrumentation. There will be numerous opportunities for contact between faculty and student. Consent of instructor required. Enrollment Limit: 30. Instructor: J. Levine Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: COMP 203
