CLAS 104 - History of Rome This course may also count for the major in (consult the program or department major requirements) : HIstory, Law and Society Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3SS This course will provide a survey of the history of Rome, from its prehistoric origins to its ‘decline and fall’ in the fifth century A.D. Attention will be given to the evolution of Roman social and political structures, Roman imperialism, and the transition from paganism to Christianity.
