ENGL 370 - Itineraries of Postmodernism Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 4 hours Attribute: 4HU, CD, WR This hybrid course examines the roots of literary modernism and postmodernism in continental philosophy. We will read theoretical texts by Nietzsche, Derrida, Rorty, Vattimo, Lyotard, Jameson, Irigaray, and Spivak; fiction by Woolf, Ford, Borges, Chu T’ien-wen, Carter, Duras, and Garcia-Marquez.
