ENVS 304 - Seminar: Environmental Justice Literature Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3HU This course examines the history, literature, and contemporary work of the Environmental Justice (EJ) movement, with a particular focus on the local knowledge that people gain from living in situations of environmental injustice. The class emphasizes the place-based character of EJ knowledge. Alongside critical and theoretical texts, we will read poems, autobiographical accounts, and novels, concentrating on the epistemological and theoretical contributions of EJ communities to environmental questions.
