PSYC 211 - Personality: Theory and Research Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3SS A survey of historical theory and current research in adult personality. We will examine the conceptual origin and current body of empirical knowledge relevant to personality processes and individual differences. Topics covered will include emotionality, introversion-extraversion, the self system, self-consciousness, self-efficacy, androgyny and gender identity, personality and health, and interpersonal behavior. Personality assessment and socio-cultural influences will be considered as well.
Enrollment Limit: 35 Instructor: K. Sutton Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: PSYC 100. Note: Not open to students who have received credit for PSYC 210 or 212.
