PSYC 501 - Practicum in Child Devlopmental Disorders Semester Offered: First Semester Credits (Range): 3 hours Attribute: 3SS The practicum provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills by working with special needs children in a school setting. In a field placement, students will develop relationships with children diagnosed with such disorders as Autism and Asperger?s and work on educational and social skills. In class, we will examine the popular and descriptive literatures to better understand our classroom experiences. The practicum may be helpful with career decisions. Enrollment Limit: 15 Instructor: K. Sutton Prerequisites & Notes Notes: P/NP grading. May be repeated for credit.
