ARTS 062 - Problems in: Intermedia/Drawing, The Nature of the Abstract Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 4 hours Attribute: 4HU What is Abstract Art? How did it come into being? Does it have content? Is it founded in concrete ideas? Is it divorced from social accountability? Is it entropic? What does it communicate or express? These are a sample of the questions to be raised and addressed in this class. They will be addressed through a series of controlled drawing assignments designed to develop both critical thinking and technical drawing skills. Enrollment Limit: 12 Instructor: J.
