Buenos Aires, México City, Havana, Lima: like art, culture and tradition, urban architecture is a conversation between generations carried out across time and all around us, affecting us sometimes to the core. In this course, we will look at prints, maps, photography, film, and literature in order to develop an understanding of the conversation between Latin American urban spaces and society, and their connection to identity and memory formation.
