This course offers students the opportunity to explore issues in international finance and open-economy macroeconomics through their own research. Students will choose topics and develop their interests in close cooperation with the professor. Ideally, the research will contain econometric applications or quantitative mathematical modeling. The process will develop research skills while familiarizing students with some of the current and on-going debates in the area. We will also introduce many of the basic building blocks of international finance at seminar meetings. Enrollment Limit: 10 Instructor: O.
