TECH 202 - Real-time Techniques Semester Offered: Second Semester Credits (Range): 3 Hours Attribute: CNDP TECH 202 continues the exploration of digital technology for the creation of music. The course focuses on the creation of interactive works, and the artistic issues and challenges that arise when working with real-time software. We use the Max/MSP/Jitter programming environment to create these works and to further explore theoretical aspects of synthesis and audio processing. In addition, the continuing survey of historical and contemporary practice in the field provides the basis for an exploration of analytical and critical techniques.
