APST 284 - Orchestra Repertoire Violin Next Offered: Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 Semester Offered: First and Second Semester Half Course Credits: 2 Credits Attribute: CNDP
Repertoire will be chosen from works most frequently encountered at orchestral auditions. Emphasis will be on bowing styles and general techniques used in orchestral playing at the professional level. An attempt will be made to coordinate the repertoire with that of the Oberlin orchestras. Two simulated orchestral auditions will be required. Enrollment Limit: 10 Instructor: G. Fulkerson Consent of the Instructor Required: Yes Prerequisites & Notes May be repeated for credit. P/NP or CR/NE grading.
