PSYC 470 - Seminar in Psychotherapy Semester Offered: First Semester Full Course Credits: 4 Credits Attribute: 4SS
An examination of theories, clinical procedures, and empirical evaluation associated with the major approaches to psychotherapy. We will consider the traditional approaches to psychotherapy as well as therapies for special groups (e.g., children) and specialized therapeutic approaches. The evaluation of therapeutic effectiveness and ethical issues will also be examined. Enrollment Limit: 12 Instructor: K. Sutton Prerequisites & Notes PSYC 211 and PSYC 214 are strongly recommended.
