A seminar in biblical hermeneutics, this course discusses biblical texts, methods and theories of interpretation, and revisionist readings from the perspective of feminist, womanist, mujerista, postcolonial, and queer scholars including: Judith Plaskow, Kwok Pui-Lan, Renita Weems, Ivone Gebara, Theodore Jennings, and Catherine Keller.
