Alcohol is the most widely used recreational drug in the world. Although it interacts with every organ system in the body, it is the effects of alcohol on the brain that motivate people to use it and underlie its addictive liability. This course will explore the effects of alcohol on the brain and behavior. Although the content of the course will be scientific in nature and rigorous, it will be taught with non-scientists in mind.
