PSYC 220 - Developmental Psychopathology Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4SS
Developmental psychopathology provides an integrative framework for conceptualizing the course of typical and atypical development across the lifespan. Within this course, we will explore the dynamic interplay of a range of biopsychosocial factors that influence child and adolescent development and that serve as either protective factors against or risk factors for the development of psychopathology during these developmental periods. Examples include pervasive developmental disorders; attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder; conduct problems; and anxiety, mood, and eating disorders. Enrollment Limit: 40 Instructor: M.
