This second module course will introduce various ways artists engage with writing as an integral part of their practice by tracing multiple genealogies and discussing a wide range of artworks. How could a verse materialize? When does a press release become a work of art? What becomes of the written word as it is embodied or coded? Each student will be guided in developing their own methodologies. This course has no prerequisite except an interest in experimenting with text materially and conceptually.
