ARBC 161 - The Modern Arab Era Semester Offered: Second Semester Half Course Credits: 2 Credits Attribute: 2HU
An examination of the current status of Arab states in the Middle East, focusing on the regional impact of political and social instability in different states. The course will examine the resulting displacement of portions of populations, considering the impact on social and political conditions of the displaced persons and the social and political structures of the nations called upon to host them, whether neighboring states or in Europe or North America.
