PACE 300 - Principles of Education Next Offered: Fall Semester Semester Offered: Secondar Semester FC Credits: 4 Credits Attribute: CNDP, DDHU
Students will explore the complex world of education from historical, philosophical, sociological and political perspectives and assumptions, while also investigating why different models of schools function as they do. Educational theory, policy, and curriculum (per the students’ areas of interest) will also be addressed, specifically current issues and research dealing with students’ readiness to learn, assessment and evaluation, funding, teacher assessment, and educational standards.
