POLT 205 - Political Research and Analysis Semester Offered: Second Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: QFR, 4SS
This course focuses on the quantitative approach to studying political phenomena. Students will learn how to design an empirical study, test theoretical predictions, and statistically analyze complex political questions using the computer program SPSS. Students will have the opportunity to conduct an empirical research project on a question of their choosing. This course provides students with methodological skills that will be useful in both academic and professional settings. No prior background in math or statistics is necessary.
