ANTH 391F - Practicum in Anthropology

Junior or senior majors in the department may receive up to four hours of credit for applied fieldwork in anthropology. The work should be carried out in connection with a systematic course of reading and the writing of a paper on the topic of the project. The purpose of the paper is to tie the field experience to relevant anthropological principles. The program should be worked out in advance with a department faculty sponsor. Consent of instructor required.
