GERM 423 - Germany Today: Migration & Refugee Movements in the 20th & 21st Centuries Semester Offered: First Semester Full Course Credits: 4 credits Attribute: 4 HU CD
The course will explore migration and refugee patterns in Germany and Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries and discuss the impact of these globalization processes on life and culture in Germany and German-speaking countries. A wide range of media sources will be utilized (e.g., film, journalistic sources and short stories), which in addition to their contextual aspects - will also offer students a variety of opportunities to refine their language and analytical skills. Course will be taught in German.
