In this class we are going to explore a wide range of physical theater practices and build our own ensemble. Students will be able to dive deep into the world of non-traditional theater movement by getting to actually put text and performance analysis into practice. We will learn to work together and explore physical theater principles viscerally with a class ensemble, while at the same time honing our critical thinking, writing, and performance analysis with works by artists such as Anne Bogart, Jerzy Gratowski and Pina Bausch. So come on, let’s get physical!
