ENGL 370 - Seminar: Itineraries of PostmodernismFC ARHU CD WINT

This hybrid course examines the roots of literary modernism and postmodernism in continental philosophy. We will read theoretical texts by Nietzsche, Derrida, Rorty, Vattimo, Lyotard, Jameson, Irigarary, and Levi-Strauss; fiction by Barnes, Perec, Borges, Chu T’ien-wen, Kis, and Duras. Diversity, Post-1900
Prerequisites & Notes: A literature course in any language.
