BIOL 399 - Human Anatomy for Health ProfessionsFC NSMA 4 credits This course covers the gross anatomy and function of major body systems including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, nervous, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and reproductive. Students will also learn areas of microscopic anatomy related to these systems. The associated laboratory includes computer-based and hands-on work with anatomical specimens and models. This is an intensive lecture and lab-based course designed for students planning to enter one of the health professions that require knowledge of human anatomy, therefore preference is given to those students needing the course for admittance to such programs. Prerequisites & Notes: Instructor consent is required.
