GSFS 263 - Roots of Religious Feminism in North AmericaFC ARHU CD WINT 4 credits This course analyzes the religious views underpinning womens literature, political advocacy, public speaking, and social reform work from colonial days to the 1970s, with a focus on primary sources. Students will apply the knowledge and methods acquired during the course to pursue their own research interests in womens religious history in North America. No previous study of religion, U.S. history, or gender theory is necessary.
