CRWR 220 - Writing Short Fiction

4 credits
A course in writing short fiction for upper division (3rd and 4th year) non-Creative Writing majors. Counts toward the concentration in Creative Writing in the English Department. Weekly writing assignments, in-class exercises, readings, and writing workshops are designed to introduce students to–and strengthen their understanding of–the elements of fiction. The semester will culminate in a portfolio of polished short stories.
