ATHL 129 - Strength Training IICC 0.5 credits This class focuses on advanced concepts of strength training while maintaining safe lifting techniques. Students will use a variety of methods including the use of resistance machines, free weights, and core strength training. Students will develop their own regimen demonstrating their understanding of the different principles of strength training.
Prerequisites: one introductory weight training class and adherence to a 6-week strength training program immediately prior to the first class.
