POLT 304 - Topics in Political PsychologyFC SSCI WADV 4 credits Political psychology is an interdisciplinary field that uses theories from social, personal, and cognitive psychology to examine politics. Students will explore how human thoughts and emotions influence elite and mass political behavior in the contemporary United States. Topics include: information processing, persuasion, identity and inter-group conflict, civil liberties and tolerance, and political communication.
