RELG 340 - Seminar: Ethical Issues in Death and Dying

This course offers students the opportunity to explore religious, philosophical, and ethical concerns relating to the human condition of finitude. Course materials are drawn from writers working from religious perspectives as well as from diverse fields such as social psychology, thanatology, and fiction. Particular foci: death as an existential fact, social and medical practices surrounding death, and grief.
