CHEM 361 - Bioanalytical Chemistry

Recent developments in bioanalytical chemistry will be examined, with readings drawn from the chemical literature. Topics include biosensors, proteomics, and in vivo analysis. To hone scientific communication skills, class time will primarily consist of discussions of papers from the primary literature and student presentations. Over the course of the semester, students will write a review paper on a bioanalytical topic of their choice.

Prerequisites: CHEM 211.
