PSYC 216 - Developmental PsychologyFC SSCI 4 credits Theories, issues, and empirical knowledge of human development from conception to middle childhood (roughly age 12). General topic areas include personality, cognition, morality, and social behavior, as they relate to each developmental period. Themes include within-person continuity and change over time, variation between and within cultures, and dynamic interactions between individuals and ecological settings. An optional laboratory (PSYC 302) may be taken with or after this course.
Prerequisites: COGS 101 or NSCI 201 or PSYC 100. Community-Based Learning
