ESOL 120 - English for Speakers of Other Languages Level 2

This course is designed to build upon skills developed in ESOL 110. The course focuses on fundamental academic writing genres, academic reading and discussion skills, listening and note-taking in the academic classroom, and complex semantics and grammar structures. Placement is based on scores from a verified English Proficiency Examination or successful completion of ESOL 110. A letter grade of C- or better is required to pass the course.

Prerequisites: A letter grade of C- or better in ESOL 110.
