RUSS 005 - Russian Phonetics

An opportunity to focus on and fine-tune Russian language phonetics and intonation without having to worry about grammar, vocabulary, etc. Targeted practice of specific sounds, sound combinations, words, phrases etc. through tongue twisters, proverbs, poems, songs, and simple dialogs. By the end of this modular course students should be well on their way to developing correct, near-native Russian pronunciation. Involves a final oral project. This course is only offered on an occasional basis (not annually). Open to students of Russian at all levels (elementary, intermediate, advanced).

Prerequisites: RUSS 101.
