PACE 312 - Class Piano Pedagogy Practicum

An opportunity for students to gain experience in teaching college-level group piano. Students will observe all class sessions of a basic-level piano class; prepare and teach a series of class segments; and become familiar with a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technologies. Required portfolios will include observation reports, text evaluations, lesson plans and assessments, and self-critiques of video-taped teaching. May be repeated once for credit.

Prerequisites: PACE 210 and PACE 212.
