MUTH 110 - General Music Theory for Non-MajorsFC CNDP 4 credits This is an introductory music theory course for students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. Topics will include basics of notation, scales, keys, chords, and intervals; aural comprehension of musical forms; style analysis; expressive text setting; connections between music and other art forms; and other topics determined according to the interests of those enrolled. Not intended for students enrolled in the Conservatory. May be repeated for credit.
This course is appropriate for new students.
