THEA 265 - Playwrighting WorkshopFC ARHU 4 credits This workshop builds skills in writing for theater and performance, from developing an idea, to editing scenes based on feedback, to preparing a play for for the process of production. This class can be a chance to start a new project or develop existing material. Bringing in scenes to read aloud each week, students learn the process of writing a completed work. Examples of theatrical work and experimental performance are offered throughout, with a focus on queer, trans, and BIPOC artists.
