CRWR 324 - Young Adult Fiction WorkshopFC ARHU WADV 4 credits In this course, students will craft short stories that center on the young adult experience. Readings will include excerpts of popular contemporary young adult novels and the work of classmates during workshop. Students’ focus will be on identifying the genre rules of young adult fiction and applying these rules to their own young adult fiction project. A revised portfolio will be turned in at the end of the semester. Open to declared majors or students intending to declare the minor.
Prerequisites: two 200-level CRWR courses.
