BUSI 121 - Foundations of Sustainable Accounting

This intensive first module course provides an introduction to key tools in accounting, enabling students to analyze business operations, measure performance, and create comparative financial ratios over time. These tools are put into practice to develop an understanding of a firm’s value creation, using both financial and non-financial measures, and the concept of an integrated bottom line. Students will explore the primary sustainable accounting frameworks, and understand how major businesses are adapting and incorporating sustainability measures in this rapidly evolving space.
