CSCI 315 - Introduction to Human-Centered Security

An introduction to the intersection of human-computer interaction and computer security.  This course is a research seminar about how human behavior interacts with core security concepts. This course will cover usable authentication, secure development, tools for encryption and anonymity, etc., as well as basic qualitative and quantitative research methods. The seminar will be driven by in-depth discussions of scholarly papers in this research area. Students will work on a research project to be presented at the end of the semester.

Prerequisites: CSCI 241.
