This dramatic literature class will focus on plays recently written and produced. It will include field trips to Cleveland theaters and meetings with local theater-makers. Students will research plays and playwrights for class presentations, as well as write critical papers, reviews of plays, blog posts, and creative work. The course will include theater exercises.

There will be a small fee for theater trips; assistance will be provided if needed.

This course is appropriate for new students.
