PSYC 210 - Cognition and Cognitive NeuroscienceFC NSMA 4 credits This course will provide an introduction to the study of human cognition, with an emphasis on the neural underpinnings of cognitive processes. We will cover topics in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience, including perception, attention, memory, emotion, and social cognition. We will also discuss the methods used to study these phenomena, including behavioral and neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG) methods. In addition, students will gain experience reading and discussing original scientific research articles.
Prerequisites: COGS 101 or NSCI 201 or PSYC 100.
